Martin was born in Dublin and commenced his music career in a soul/ blues band. He formed his own successful Folk/ Blues/ Country band, whose many credits included playing support for "Boxcar Willie".
During his extensive travels in Europe, USA and Asia he made numerous TV appearances and collected a wealth of songs with which he contuned to enrich Claddagh's reportoire during his time with the band.

Born in Sydney, she completed her secondary education at the NSW Conservatorium of Music. Joanne continued to study and play piano and cello. Sean was playing Irish music in his native Dublin and throughout Ireland for more than 20 years prior to joining Claddagh. Prior to his arrival in Australia in 1995, he carried the Irish tradition to such exotic locations such as New Zealand, Thailand and Japan. In addition to playing strings and wind instruments, Sean also contributed to performances with rousing ballads, sea shanties and was known to dance an impromptu jig or a reel.

Doug Jenner
